 “Sunny Hawke’s Bay” (as dubbed by locals) is a popular destination, not only for its beautiful weather, but for its fine wines, fresh produce and awesome beaches.

Visitors to the area usually head straight for Napier City, but there are plenty of other places in Hawke’s Bay worth discovering. Venturing out of the city for at least a couple of days is highly recommended.

You should be able to cover good ground in the area if you grab a rental car or jump on board a tour company - just make sure you have allowed yourself a reasonable stay.

A word of warning... getting lost is surprisingly common! It pays to research what you want to do and plan your days so you can spend your time here wisely.
